I am thinking about trying out a bot to regain some gold I got scammed out of for blizz store mounts. What is the safest way to bot besides botting on another account? Is there anything else I should do to protect myself? What are some bot programs you would recommend?

botting on another account

If you have any attachment to your account, AT ALL, do that. period. with botting its not "if i get caught" its "WHEN i get caught". because you will get caught.
you should also use a VPN to move your IP for your second account to another location from your primary account, so they cant tell both are from one machine.

as for security, i think Honorbuddy is still the top dog.

In regards to how not to get caught: use a separate account, don't leave it running unattended (always be there, watching it, so if someone whispers you or something, you can respond), use a separate account, make your own custom paths, use a separate account, program randomness into your profile, use a separate account.

tthis may seem like trolling, but its the best advice you can be given in regards to botting.

Yeah if I do it it will be on a different account. I don't want to use my main account at all. now should I make a whole different bnet account for the bot or just a new wow account on my bnet?

Has an IP ban ever happened to anyone for botting with 1 single account? I heard it's riskier to use a vpn.
