Before I begin my explaination and etc i'd like to start by saying this is my continuation of my project "Shade" which was given up on since ascent came out.

Introduction

Prevail Project is a new project I thought would be cool to do. I found many various and neat databases by players here on mmowned. What the project is, is a project (obviously) that wants the hopes of compiling all these various databases into and more. To create a neat customized server.

Target
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
The target for this project is to compile all the databases as I said and to make it into a massive customized one with things such as custom areas with raids that have drops such as tier 7 pieces and other goodies. Its nothing special just pretty basic. In the future after "someone" I hope hosts the beta it will evolve into a possible release exclusively to mmowned (unless its refered to other sites by players).

Whats Needed
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
All that I can say is really needed is someone who can host it possibly alot and can be on msn to accept updates and put into the server. As I said its a beta.

Hope somone will be instered in this.

Almost every project i have seen so far that claims to do that, gets flamed by the original creators of those works. Thus, a mod will delete your "compiling"

And make sure you ask before you use their database.

Another thing, there are way too many projects out there.

About the quote "asking for permission before using someone's work" I find that pretty hippocritical being since... your using material without permission and making it into your own. well the problem with compiling alot of databases is you wouldt just keep over writng the same thing like items monsters exp vendors in such

I dont think you all get what I meant. When I mean compiling I mean manually entering most of the things since of course every DB has a different columns, tables and etc. Thats what I mean by it. Maybe I should start posting in baby blue so people get the theme :P

Kyizzle what GP does has nothing to do With WoW. His stuff is custom WoW never thought of it they never invented it so dont take other peoples work without using it. Such as like if you base your Database on another 1 you must say that and give credits if you have gotten permission.

Kyizzle, i say one thing, and you assume all this random shit.

Ill admit it, the DS team has done NOTHING. Wanna know why? Because there are too many of these god damn mini projects! And since when have i ever "called on my team to do my bidding". All of my guides are 100% original and written by MYSELF. Plus, I have more emulation knowledge in one finger than you do in your entire body!

Before you go off stating rediculous claims, be prepared to back it up.

I agree with Gastricpenguin, there have been multiple projects like this.

Claiming the Penguin has no knowledge? For shame. He is one of the best Emulator Experts of the entire team, and you haven't proved yourself in any way.

And by the way:

Keep flaming. Your first reaction to Gastricpenguin? Telling him to, "Go suck a d***" will get your VERY far in this community, or ANYWHERE really.

Grow up, and stop flaming. I will be cracking down hard on flamers.
