Max out legendarys (Low XP, but no gear req)

I have been running The Core of Arreat the past 3-4 days on low torment or even all the way down on normal. Since the drop chance for legendarys doesn't scale up by entering tormented this is possible to farm with pretty much max potential with just 50-60k dps (I do this with my wd or barb, both really well geared, but not a req)

What you aim to farm is elites, chests and vessels, I made a map of where chests/vessels spawn in this zone.


Each dot mark a chest/vessel spawn, avg you'll get 5-6 spawns per run all with a fairly high chance for legendary drops, ontop of that this zone always has 2-3 elite packs, I believe 4 is even possible and last but not least, this zone seem to spawn a goblin about 50% OF THE TIME!

It seems very random, had times where I ran this for 30min without any, other times I got 3-4 in 10min.

Avg? I would say expect 4-6 per hour.
(img is missing 2 spawn points, not that it matters a lot)

Do you use any MF-Items for this run?

did this for 30 minutes on hard, found 3 legendarys. exp is still solid even on modes like hard.

Do you use any MF-Items for this run?

No, mf gear isn't wroth it really, lets say you have 200 mf, that will only mean 20% more legendarys after this new system.

But wouldnt MF still be great if you could keep damage, i bougth some random parts and have 280 MF whilst still having 90k dmg and 400k toughness which is fine for normal 1 shotting mobs?

If you can kill things without having to stop, yes then its wroth it.

Just a minor tip:
If you happen to find a pair of fire walker, I would highly recommend using them! Could also buy legacy once from the AH, not sure if the burning effect is the same tho.

Keep in mind firewalker deal 100% weapon damage, so rest as long as you have high dps weapon(s) you should be fine.
