Hunter Misdirection Bug???

Hey guys,

had a match yesterday against a Paladin. He had TS-Champ equipped and a DoA on his side. The only thing for me was a misdirection.
So he attacks me with his minion and BOOM, misdirecton goes off. Since nothing else is on the board, naturally the minion attacks its owner.
Now the magic begins. The Paladin takes damage but at the same time DoA gets destroyed by the 4 dmg of TS-Champ. I used misdirection lots of times but have never seen this before. I don't remember minions taking dmg by a heros weapon when the MINION attacks the hero.

Working as intended? Did I miss something? Or what is happening here?

Eerm, the OP asked about hunter in Hearthstone, not WoW...

OT - I've never encountered it before.

Working as intended and it was working like that from the start - that's why you shouldn't use druid/rogue hero power BEFORE attacking int o a trap.

Thanks for the information, didn't know about that. Now I like my misdirection even more
