new to pqr programming, need some tips

i have been using pqr for a few weeks now and trying out several profiles and i love it.
while i dont like all to be auto, when playing some classes i like the basic dps rotation to be auto so i can focus on interrupts, etc.

i have some coding experience in bash and php, so i just need some info to start doing tests:

best editor for xml supporting colored syntax?
any commented examples or profiles to look at?
any literature or tutorial that covers the basic stuff?

There is not a "best" editor, use the one that fits you best
