    [Guppy][Source] Another Fishing Bot!

    Since nethulhu vanished a couple weeks ago, I originally took it upon myself to update Leviathan. After visiting the code for large amounts of time, I decided to rewrite almost everything and start a different one.

    Hence, Guppy.





    It has the same look and feel, but is a whole new beast.

    The biggest changes:
    • Doesn't use arrow keys to navigate (you can use your regular keys again!)
    • You can save and re-load waypoint lists (Thanks to Apocs tutorial)
    • Waypoints now have a flag "Is Transit" which means you won't fish at that point, only use it to get to other points
    • Settings window that allows you to change any setting on-the-fly (or you can still use the exe.config since it reads that)
    • Implemented GreyMagic for memory reading (overkill, but fun)
    • If you fail to catch a fish (something amiss), if you have waypoints, it'll automatically move to those instead of doing nothing.
    • Randomized timers for casting and hooking fish.


    Everything in the zip needs to be in the same directory as the executable. You also may need .NET 4.5 installed.

    Known Issues:
    • "Start Moving" button doesn't work sometimes (was mostly a debug tool for myself)
    • Sometimes the program will crash if you start it before being in-game
    • Moonwalk movement (pretty sure I just need to find the correct pointer to update client-side heading/face)


    Here is the source. It's really messy, but I stopped caring. I don't plan on doing any more updates, so it's up to whoever.

    thank you for the share! your version of leviathan was working great and i look forward to using this whenever i fish next

    Thanks for the bot, helped me out a lot! I have a question tho: Since waypoints are already in the implemented, would it be possible for you to release a trimmed down version that would only contain code for moving from waypoint to waypoint? Sort of an automated runner bot where you could plot a path with waypoints and use that instead of porting. Tried using the bot in that way, but atm the heading makes you run in a very strange and suspicious way, for me atleast. The character doesnt turn when running to the next waypoint, but sort of strides twards it keeping the heading it had at the last one (you're literally running sideways). Would really be great if something like that was possible.

    Does anyone know if ffxiv has detection software? I'm interested in botting but nervous for obvious reasons. Is this safe to run if you at the computer?

    Don't bot on accounts you "can't" lose. My recommendation is not to bot if you feel this way.

    The moonwalking behavior you mentioned is client-side, which means no one can see you doing it.

    I released the source, so it wouldn't be hard to make a waypoint walker. The code is pretty awful and messy, but it works.

    Not sure what's up but not working for me. The program loads fine and it displays all of the information correctly (x, y, z; version etc.) but it simply won't fish.

    That's the log file - it just continuously loops that forever and doesn't actually cast. Any ideas on how to fix?

    Thx to kairos989's post with updated pointers. You can make it almost work again by changing in the settings the value of those 4 pointers:
    X: 18617480
    Y: 18617488
    Z: 18617484
    Bite: 18359752

    You won't be able to use waypoints unless you find the pointer for "Heading"

    Thank you for this!!! Finally works again. I never use the waypoint stuff so I didn't even try it. But with the changes made to the Guppy.exe.config that you listed, I was able to fish again.
