Skip the launcher, auto login

Apologizes if this is widely known or already posted.

First download and unzip process explorer from microsoft:
Process Explorer

If you want to skip the FF14 launcher and automatically login you do the following:
- open the launcher
- login as usual
- open process explorer
- find ffxiv.exe
- double click it
- copy all the text in the command line box
- close ff14

Now all you have to do is paste that command line and FF14 will open with you logged in:
- paste in run dialog (WinKey+R)

You will notice if you examine the command line that you have a SID (session id). That SID only changes if you login via the launcher again. You can use this SID to login in via any machine. I've been using the same SID for 5 days now on multiple computers avoiding the launcher.

Do not share your command line or SID with anyone. They can login as you.

I shared my login command + sid with a trusted friend. They could login as me.

Guessing a SID via bruteforce is near impossible, they are long enough. A targeted attack of sorts perhaps.

well the real problem will be that other programms are able to read them out, for example bots.

Using this on an account with an authenticator logs you into an unknown JP account. For want of not wanting to risk a ban, I made no attempt to use the "create new character" button, but theoretically could mean that a free alternate account could be used?
