LV 40+ Easy EXP and 15-30+ Gold an Hour

This might already be known by some, but for those who don't know, here is a little tip if you are wanting to get good grinding exp and make a pretty decent amount of gold while in your 40's.

In booty bay, off of the shore to the south, are pirates which drop Volatile Rum. It is used in creating Goblin Rocket Fuel so it is a wanted item. It has a low drop rate of 6%, so when selling it can fetch a pretty good price. but if you grind the area at lv 40+, you can get some pretty good exp as well. I was getting 500+ just for killing one of them as a lv 40 Priest, and another 250+ rested exp. Making it close to 800+ for a single mod. And the best part is they have a fast respawn rate. If you move towards the two camps, you can go from one to the other and back and most of the mobs will have already respawn.

Within an hour of grinding, I got 5 volatile rums, and over 3 or 4 bars of exp. (at lv 40 thats not bad at all)

5 might not seem like a lot, but they tend to sell for high prices on the auction house. When doing a search in AH, I saw another set of 5 was going for 35 gold! Single ones for sale were going for up to 7G. So I got a good amount of exp, and made a possible 35 G by selling the Volatile Rum in the AH.

Pretty good info, but the economy is still new on my server and ppl are selling them for <1g I hate noobs lol

i was doing the Bloodsail Buccaneer quests and such in STV and i picked up a few of the Volatile Rums but i threw them out for space... good guide though..going to go grind there

Posted before. Also it doesnt work. The drop rate has been nerfed and they really dont sell well for all the time put into grinding them. Your better off killing mobs for cloth(mageweave)
