[Guide] Bounty hunter PUB - Slam that intelligence!

    Hey everyone,

This is a small guide on basics of bounty hunter as well as some builds you might want to use for him. Bounty hunter is a very straightforward hero, however, it requires some skill to stay alive while owning your enemies. Remember: armor reduction wins the games!

    The build

    Boots of choice:
Power Treads - cookie cutter, you want to rush this asap.
Tranquil Boots - extremely rare choice, you will get perseverance no matter what, so this would be a waste most of the time

    Early game:
Poor Man's Shield - only if someone is harassing you badly (even though they shouldn't, you can be invisible and stuff!)
Perseverance - only if you lack hp/mp badly most of the time

    Core items:
Desolator - make this happen as fast as you humanly can. If you get desolator right after power treads, the game is so early you can oneshot intelligence heroes
Battlefury - this will ensure you cleave all of them, which is something you want to do, but will keep your mp/hp up during those early ganks
Assault Cuirass - hell yea baby!

    Damage items:
Monkey King Bar - you know the drill. Some attack speed and damage can't hurt you
Butterfly - this is a trick one. While it's nice to have agility, most of the time you will jump out of invisibility, drop someone, go right back, so getting just agi might not be wise. I usually get 3 core items listed and by that time, game is over

    Situational items:
Daedalus - at some point, you might have 25:0 score and be very bored, so why not
Vladimir's Offering - so they have 3 gems and 7 wards up on the map, you will need that life steal. Getting this before desolator and/or battlefurry will not help you at all
Medallion of Courage - in some extremely rare cases, you will have issues farming that desolator quick, so get one of these. Make sure to get rid of it later on.
Divine Rapier - be careful with this one. Bounty hunter can be very fragile, especially if you are using this build. Getting one is fine, but loosing one can be a problem. If you really want sick damage, Daedalus might be a better choice.

    Items to avoid:
Hood of Defiance - no. You are invisible. Be invisible.
Linken's Sphere - No. You are invisible!
Black King Bar - NO! INVISIBLE!
Manta Style - You are a ganker that's suppose to appear and kill, not engage them like that. While it gives stats and attack speed, you don't need it.
Maelstrom - Leave the lightning to Zeus. Only unique attack modifier you need is armor reduction, nothing else.
Vanguard - Typically, avoid any HP items. Getting more HP will just mean you get 3 extra seconds to live. If you feel like you need more HP, you are doing something
    wrong.
Phase Boots - No. You want power treads, so you can change type when you need too, and you want the attack speed you get. Phase boots can get you in a lot of trouble if you hit them after you hit shadow walk, so avoid them.

    Skills:

    Shadow walk:
Your first still, max it out as soon as you can. This is very useful if they want to shutdown your farming, as well as for harassing people in your lane. Go invisible, wait for cool down, slap them and jump right back to invisibility again.

    Jinada:
Your second skill you want to max out. Use this early game to run in, kill a creep, and run out.

    Shuriken toss:
Useful for later game as extra damage, useless early on. Start putting some points into this once you maxed out previous two, and let the kill steal begin!

    Track:
Make a bot to click this as soon as you get level 6! This is the skill that will enable you to up your farm like crazy. As soon as you get this, start roaming around the map tracking heroes that you wanna gank or that your team mates are killing. Make sure no hero goes down without track on them, and you will have all the gold you might need. Upgrade it whenever you can.

    Playstyle:

You'd mostly want to stay in your lane (unless someone is wise to farm your jungle) until you are level 6. After that, you really want to track every hero possible. As soon as you get a desolator, you will be able to 1v1 most heroes, considering you should have it by level 8 or so. During team fights, never rush in with everyone, instead, go around their team and make sure to take out all the intelligence. If you are invisible, and have a desolator, you can almost one shot all of intelligence heroes in the game. Also, make sure to shut them down as soon as you see them. 0:15 pugna should be a normal thing in the enemy team. Take out anyone you see solo and make your supports buy wards all the time, don't go in blind.

    Gameplay footage:
    Comming soon!

That's it guys, I hope you liked it, many more guides on dota 2 heroes to come!
    Peace!
