How to Get any Creatures Display ID

I've just found out you can get the NPC of your choice by going to:
World of Warcraft Creatures | World of Warcraft @ Curse.com
And search for the creature you are looking for.

When you find the NPC you want, click on the small orange box, in doing so will show the xml, the xml in that shows the <display>#####</display> #= replace with number.

Example:
Let's say we want to find creature ID for Arvoar the Rapacious, we searched for him and found this:
Arvoar the Rapacious | a World of Warcraft Creature | World of Warcraft @ Curse.com
Now we need to click on the small orange button(looks like small RSS button), it will send us to the XML format.
http://wow.curse.com/database/creatures/...7/feed.xml
And we will search for

<display>

And we found this line:
<display>21394</display>
That's means 21394 is the modelID that's needed for creature_names.

Can't be simple then that!.

Cool, except they have no Mechanical category. I need to find this guy, and I have no idea who he is:

f... once i found the dispaly id of that tiger i was going to make them like gaurds but i lost the dispaly id of him :@

Just go to Wowhead: World of Warcraft Database and lookup an item/npc u want to know the id of. And when your there look at the URL and the nubers at the end, are the ids of that item/npc. I think this works with spells too. Enjoy!

That is not the Display ID though.

i think that tigerthing is summoned by a gem . Just a guess, maybe item search through jewelcrafting?
also u cant .npc info summoned creatures.

How it only shows their Entry ID not Display ID.

My only guess for that tiger would be the Figurine - Nightseye Panther (or something along those lines) but I'm not so sure.

What you can do is find the npcs entry id, then spawn them. Then do
.npc info and it shows you their display ID (among other things) and you use that!

The displayID for that tiger is 19607.

I found him on accident and I now use him for my server's pet trainer.
