Saftey Question About LFR

Hello everyone,

I recently received a perma ban and got it reduced to a 72 hour ban and final warning.

From what I've read doing a combat routine with a raiding bot and still moving around during a LFR should be safe, but was wondering if that's still the case after already being caught?

Also wondering if Blizz has means to detect doing non pool fishing with auto angler in a remote spot for an hour or two.

Any opinion on this would be greatly appreciated. Please no vague 'always a chance' replies, just looking for what would you do in my shoes type of answers.

Sure.. they can sit and watch, single you out - common sense. Also, according to the ToS check running apps for warranted suspects or during ban-waves. You don't mention what "raidbot" you use. There's no reason why you should receive a ban from ones like PTR unless you opened your mouth about it or AFK'd.

Ah sorry should of clarified more. I use honorbuddy - Tyrael bot - pure rotation routine. Never tell anyone about the bot and don't afk.

So you would say it's not worth it trying to fish for an hour or so?

Lazyraider/Tyrael/Whatever doesnt get you banned, its most likely other things you've used the bot to do such as fish/farm that raised flags.

Oh it definitely was the farming that got me banned. I'm not going to use it to farm anymore though. Was just wondering if using Tyrael not afking for LFR would still be safe even after being caught.

He answered you here. You weren't banned because of LFR. Go to town. I wouldn't go fully AFK though. That is when I have lost most of my accounts. Now I watch to some extent.
