Crap so they patched another AD exploit that I just learned of today...

Read this on mmogfails today, it was discovered by Dmanthey.

Finally is yet another AH exploit. This allows you to buy out whatever auctions have expired for free. Thanks to Dmanthey and many others for this information.

Lol go try this out. Wait till an auction is about to expire, when the timer counts down to 1, wait a few seconds and bid/buy it out. You just got the item for free. No AD lost. Pretty sure it screws over whoever was the buyer or seller was. Not sure though. Epic programming win from Cryptic!

Anyone else got some freebies before this was patched out? I camped the most expensive stuff possible lol. Now time to resell and buy some Zen.

I wonder if this is why I sometimes would not get the AD that the AH owed me after a sale. Things are suddenly making a lot of sense.

I am sure Cryptic is watching that site like a hawk. Any time anything gets posted there, it's patched within hours or a few days.

I read it, tried it out, got me some free stuff, and decided to exploit the living snu snu out of it later today. I went to watch the new Star Trek, come back, and the servers are down...

Oh well at least I got a bunch of free vorpals lol.

I think what you meant is that they watch that site like a hawk and fix any issues that negativley impact their own greedy cash flow within a few days or hours.
Check out some of the other exploits there. A few still work. The GF set and TR dagger spring to mind right away.

Im not sure , but i think The Tr dagger wep enchant actually is not counted when calculating damage. Some of my friends tried but came to the conclusion that it doesnt work !

So at 42, you can equip a whole set of epics and a weapon for GF. I'm ruining everything at lvl 46 right now.

It works. I use it on my TR in PvP. Have been since I found it on mmogfails last month. If you want to use the same enchantment, make sure to run different ench lvels. So if one is level 7, the other should be anything other than level 7. Or you could just use two different ones.

I used a parser to check the DPS difference and it's quite noticeable.

I just got to 38 with my new GF (last one was perma banned) and mailed myself the sword and gauntlets. The sword alone is making me almost instakill anything that's the same level as I am. Going to try a dungeon soon.

At 42 can you solo clear same level dungeons using the epic gear?
