98 Server

Im trying to create my own private wow server for me and a few friends, but most of the programs i have tried wont work on my compy, is it b/c im running Win 98 still? can anyone help me make a sever please, i have tried several guides and all have failed on my compy. compy = computer btw.

I tried that guide already, MySQL wont let me configure/install it the right way, i cant select the Install As Windows Service it only lets me use Include Bin Directory in Windows PATH and wont let me make an account and pass for my MYSQL, so i dont know what to do now... is there any other program i could use? Or a way to fix that? Remember, im running Windows 98.
