So outside of World of Warcraft & such I personally find appreciation in people who respect the generations before us. So for this contest it isn't going to be something simple as guessing a number or listing a handful of random information. I know this may discourage some people from participating but this is a double win situation. Free game time for you & it benefits someone else int he world.


Prize: Two Months Game Time

Contest Guidelines:
You must record yourself doing something helpful for an elderly person.
Elderly does not consist of a 40 year old person, 60+ is considered elderly to me.

There are multiple sites that allow you to upload your video, make sure its a standard website such as youtube etc so you don't break forum rules linking offsite.
In your video you must also say your forum name or make a hand signal of the letter O then C so we know its actually you & you didn't hijack a video.

Contest ends April 5th, midnight Central Time Zone.
Any thread posted after the deadline will not be considered.

I will select 3 videos I feel are the best & if a MOD or ADMIN would like to participate & select their favorite video we will add one more.
I will then take them names & post them in a random pick generator online & the winner we be selected that way.

I wont do this mainly because it makes me feel like i purposely went out of my way for gametime which as nice as it sounds receiving is selfish.

I work at an oxfam as a volunteer because i enjoy it and it helps the people who live locally, twice now i have been the a pensioners home around the corner and setup his freeview/tv. I mean he lives in a really rough area though its so close to town and he leaves all his bill money in envelopes on his table.

But no he has put his trust and sought my help and thats what he gets, im glad he now can get tv again as he was forced to watch dvds all the time lol.

Please if any of you do the above contest at least make sure the person needs your help and put a smile on their face.

I doubt anyone would complain if you record then for a few seconds if you do something nice to them. (helping them).

Just stop complaining this could actually be a fun contest.

I work at a place called "La Posada" in arizona... retirement community. I help old people every day, all day If you're nice they sometimes tip you hundreds, just because they can. I don't think people should have to be nice to old people just to win a prize, they're nice to talk to and have cool stories.
