It's not a program that generally does it (although one could probably be used). It's just an addon. A little more searching around and playing with auction addons will probably lead you in the right direction

ahh, seeing as auctioneer is outdated, and the modded version uses it, im taking it wont work, so i guess i will wait for an update to the original auctioneer
