Question please answer about botting!

Im planning on making another account with my same name information and am planning on transfering one of my characters over so it can have a level 85. If the account which im transfering the 85 over from gets banned for botting, will both the accounts become banned?

Blizzard will only ban the account that is violating the terms of use, the other one would be perfectly safe. Botting is pretty low risk anyway if you don't do it 24/7 and flood the auction house with your stuff. So you definitely don't have to worry about the main account unless you start botting on that also
