So what is RaidMonitR? It's a real time raid monitor for the web
I just started with this little pet project, but i could use some help
What do I have a already?
- Codebase in C#
- ObjectManager code
- A small example where I can stream my position to the web real time (zones that is, instances are a different case).
What is my goal?
- A spectating experience where people can put up their video stream and add some more info like;
- A map where people can see where everyone in the raid is (eventually with heatmaps and stuff)
- Unit frames of people who are in the raid (eventually you could select a player and see what he is doing)
- Boss health bars
- etc
- Releases - Since this can grow big I want to make a few important features at the time so we can release features per version.
- No memory editting (I hope i can make it public available.. I think it's possible (reading from mem is oke, from what i've read.. Logitech g15 lcd also reads info outside the WoW progress i believe?)
- Open source github repo
Questions to you
- What do you think? Would you like to help out and how?
- More specific questions
- How do i determine what level/layer/floor someone is?
- How do coordinates work for instances ? The zone ids are in WorldMapArea.dbc, but there are no coordinates there..
