So I got the vanilla, burning crusade and wrath of the lich king collector's ediition from an unmerged account and going to sell it. The vanilla pets do still come in every new created characters mailbox so you can then transfer away as many characters as you want with the pets in their bags. The BC & WOTLK ones however dont anymore but they are learned on the account so they are availble for use.

The battle.net account contains 4 WoW accounts, one of them is the burning crusade & WOTLK and one of them is vanilla. But it also contains alot more feaths like:
