[PQR] Mage Profiles

I have been fooling around with my own private profiles since way back in cata it seems and I've always done well with them (2.4+ rbg steady good dps pve) so I figured I would finally try to make some mop profiles and share with you guys and see how they turn out.

My first one is PvE Frost Mage, this is a really rough copy as I just made it quickly this morning, but it seems to work fine in raids. It uses all cooldowns as if it were a boss fight as i didnt get around to creating the trash profile as i'm quite busy tonight. For a quick trash profile just take Icy Veins and mirror out of rotation.

Notes for Fire:


1st and foremost, the MOST IMPORTANT PART:

YOU MUST HAVE THIS MACRO, AND PUT IT IN ACTIONBARSLOT2, AKA SECOND BUTTON ON DEFAULT UI. I'M NOT SURE IF THIS WILL WORK WITH BAR ADDONS SUCH AS DOMINOS/BARTENDER.

/castsequence reset=10 Alter Time, Flamestrike
/use 1

THIS IS REQUIRED FOR ALTER TIME TO WORK PROPERLY.


*this is not fixed in the frost profile and sometimes bugs out, however this is 100% always working properly as fire, I will upload a frost fix soon.

-Uses Nether Tempest talent
-Left Shift for Dragons Breath
-Auto Uses Alter Time for max damage and max combustion (possible defensive use added in at a later point)
-Works with Cauterize talent currently (auto iceblocks as soon as you cauterize) Plans to add cold snap usage in properly
-Alter Time has '/use 13' as an action for it as I use the PVP ON USE TRINKET in that slot. If you do not have that, remove it, if you do have it, make sure it is in SLOT 13
-You will have to self buff Molten Armor/Arcane Intellect


Future Plans for Fire PvP Profile:

-Adding in support for frostjaw/ring of frost/deep freeze (Currently I use Deep Freeze glyph and use it manually)
-Overall improvements (obviously). This includes fine tuning, extra features, no bugs, etc.
-Adding in a pause button (next update, possibly tonight or tomorrow)



*As of now, this will be overall pretty strong in BG/RBG right now, however it definitely will not be as strong in arena (no pause button, will have to disable to sheep/ring of frost/frostjaw/etc. will include in next update)



I am currently using this in 2400 rbg's and I am almost always near top or at top, normally only beaten by frost DK, this definitely needs improvements added in before serious arena use, but could definitely be used for some low end arena.



Please keep in mind these are Works in Progress, I appreciate all feedback/bug reports/etc, and they will be updated frequently, my primary focus being PVP Profiles for mage, but also some PvE profiles thrown in as my frost pve profile.

Please make the fire PvP a very good profile as we are currently lacking that.. There are only shit profiles for Fire PvP, so don't disappoint me I'll be willing to donate $10 PayPal if it feeds my satisfaction. Thank you very much!

Currently working on adding in frostjaw for a deep freeze burst window, but having some problems due to the delayed application of frostjaw, i will most likely add in a Left Control for frostjaw in tomorrows update for manual use.

Fire PvP doesn't seem to do anything for me.. only casts Inferno Blast and Pyroblast when it's instant.
