Getting the address with cheat engine no longer works?

So i was trying to get the value of my characters "life" using cheat engine. What i did was i first entered the current value of my "life" , pressed scan. Alot of adresses show up so i went ahead and got hit by some mobs entered the new value of my "life" and hit "next scan". However no addresses are showing up. :< I tried the exact same thing a couple of months ago and it worked fine. Anyone know if i'm doing something wrong here?

EDIT: turns out the hp value was stored in a float variable instead of the 4-bit interger i was searching for :P sorry for the post
