SWTOR Lags when run with VM Ware

Hello, im using VM ware Workstation 9, and im having lag when running SWTOR, its a very weird lag, there is 10 seconds of smooth play, followed by 2 sec of total freeze lag.

Its not the CPU, its not the RAM, i checked the resources used, and even tried to give it more.

Windows XP is used in the VM

    Any suggestions?

EDIT: It worked fine on VM ware 8, but my harddisk died, so i had to re-install, anyhow, i decidedto try and install VM ware 8 again, same issue, so its not a version problem.

Based on my own experiences and what I've read so far here in the forums, my best guess is that patch 1.4 is more resource intensive and no longer plays well with Workstation. Version 8 does seem to perform better than version 9, however, so I would stick with that. I haven't yet tested three simultaneous instances since 1.4 dropped, but my rig still runs two instances just fine, with only the rare white screen issue, so don't lose hope.

I doubt it that, but it could be, btw it ONLY lags when UntzBot is running, or any other AutoIt Program, very weird.

Since the last swtor update I've been having issues as well . The game will crash a lot often (in vmware and on a normal pc), the windows will run out of virtual memory (even with pagefile being disabled on computers that have ssd )

I'm running windows 7, they perform ok when i give them 4 cores in stead of 2, BUT it only works for a little bit, I think it might be some kind of IP thing? BECAUSE when I am running on one machine if it IS messing up, it won't even run good on my other machine. But when it's running ok, i can run 2 VMs plus a native, and one on my other comp just fine... but it only lasts a couple hours... 1.4 totally crapped up everything... the gfx glitch out way more, a lot of very poor programming went into 1.4....

you should get a better computer, or split the vmware up properly
