Lvl 80 cursed shore farming area

There's a spot at winterknell shore in cursed shore where you dissect these dead fish. They spawn around 3-5 maggots which drop loot, very good farming area.

just did this. popped 20 fish - most were empty, 5 contained a big maggot, 1 contained the 3-5 maggots you were talking about. doesnt seem worth it with all the other shit around there that can aggro you that you have to manage as well


none of my maggots dropped any loot...except 1 piece of junk. and i had MF food on

Yeh you can do it anytime. There are 4 dead fishes(the place I farm), 2 of them 100% contain maggots and the other contains oozes. This is best done with a party because each member can dissect the same one. To make this really efficient, make sure only 1 person dissects, then you kill the maggots, then next person dissects, etc.

The place I farm at is right next to the event(when there is one), there are 4 dead fishes, these are the main ones and 2 of them contain maggots and the other 2 contains oozes.

I should also note that this is better done with a party, because when you aggro mobs you can take them down easily.

this camp is unsoloable with the density of adds if noone else is around clearing.

however with a group and everyone cycling maggot poppinng and keeping all the other adds down i can see this would be a great place to farm in theory

This spot worked very well for me when I stumbled across it the other day, was able to farm it with a group of 3 people without any problem. Each corpse has a certain monster(s) it will spawn. The spawns can be a large grub, multiple smaller grubs, or an ooze monster. Only one spawn can be active at a time for each corpse so two people cannot burst the same corpse for two oozes for example... you would have to burst the body, kill the ooze, then person two can burst the body and force another spawn.
So players can take turns cycling through to maximize small grub spawns once you find out which ones spawn the small grubs.
The spawns seem to be pretty evenly spread out.

The ooze mosnters in this area are also worth killing if you farm here, they die easily and are good for farming for a few craftin mats like scales, and such.
