    Bans 9/9/12

There were a few posts about bans today in an older thread, so I thought I'd start a fresh one so that we can more easily keep track.

    Accounts banned: 2 of 3
How often do you space bot: 20+ hours per day
Do you use any other kind of bot: No
Did you sell credits for real money: Every day for the past few weeks
If yes, how did you sell the credits: Mail with screenshots
Reason given for account closure: Selling credits. I suspect they don't track space bots, unless (like me) you stay online far too long, but I think the credit sales got me.

Please post here if you were also banned today.

Accounts banned: 5/5 (one I had been botting for over two months, the other 4 were less than a month old) (two had vpn's and one of those two had never interacted with the others before)
How often do you space bot: 15-20 hours a day.
Do you use any other kind of bot: No
Did you sell credits for real money: Every day for the past two weeks
If yes, how did you sell the credits: Mail with screenshots, some face to face.
Reason given for account closure: Selling credits. Even the one that had no interactions, so either they check accounts that are in space for a long time or somehow it was connected.

    Hi red,

Quick question: The VPN which had not interacted with the other accounts - did you sell credits from that one as well? If so, it might simply be a matter of them tracking mail and trades.

as said in the other thread, nope.

I am wondering if they could track my accounts via my router mac address. A VPN would not block that, right?

DANG IT. They even banned my two other accounts that I had not logged into for several days.

Per the VPN, no they can't. The MAC address always comes from the last piece of hardware the signal goes through, which in this case would be the VPN's. I would really like to hear what they tell you when you challenge this one.

Are you sure on that? I guess I don't know enough about the internet yet .I thought the mac address of the computer would show along with the VPN. Well I'm going to test it out...

I'm curious to know if anyone here transfers credits strictly through face to face trade, and if so were you still banned? It would be great if we could find out how they are tracking it. I had one account banned a few weeks ago, and so lately I've been trying to be a little more secure by only sending less than a million credits at a time, but clearly that didn't make any difference.

Did you chat with your buyer about selling credits? You may have been monitored.

After i get first mass ban i didnt sold any credits, i made around 10 account which never sold any credits and now are baned. My firend made his first swtor account , 15 lvl manual then 15-19 in 1 day on uzbot , after that he get banned (aslo i got ban with him on my new acc) . We didnt sold any credits.

Space botting might be the primary reason. Has anyone gotten banned WITHOUT using a bot?

Two of my accounts, around level 10-15, that were back ups got banned along with my other 5.

Also if space botting were the reason, how come only a few are reporting bans? We would be seeing over half of the people posting in the forum saying something about a ban.

Just to give you a constrast: Im not banned.
I spacebot ~8hours a day, pushing twinks and generating credits for personal usage. Never yet sold a credit from that account. So I assume they just track high money movements and d0x the recievers.
    regards,
    NG
