Playing Different Region Servers

Has anyone tried this? Like playing an EU server while in US. I'm wondering if the lag/ping is bad/worse/unbearable/ no difference.

ive done it played on eu account while i was in usa ... and played my usa on account in europe i didnt have any lag anyways...so no difference for me

I have friends playing WOW with me from different countries of the world. We are all on the same EU Realm hosted in Frankfurt Germany. A guy from Canada is getting 120-130 ms ping here, while me living in Germany get 30 ms. There is no lag or anything and you can play fine with that latency too. A guy from Brazil however is getting around 280 ms and people from Asia(Bangladesh) having 300. Still all pretty playable. So I can clearly say you can play WOW from around the world without much trouble, don't think it differ for Swotr somehow.

Thats true since I'm a Brazillian and have chars in EU/US SWTOR servers. No problems at all
