Choice Gaming/work laptop

Hi guys,

For my new schoolyear I'll be needing a good laptop. But since my pc's starting to get outdates as well I decided so buy a good gaming laptop for around 1400 euro's.
After spending hours searching on the web I found these Medion laptops that have good hardware for the price. But I don't know much about the parts that are better etc.

There are 2 Medion laptops that are at the same price range (1399,00 euro) but have different parts, wich one is the best for my needs?
I need a laptop for gaming and full hd movie editing.

Medion generally has a bad reputation... at least in Denmark.
But I'd say the second one is best. Better CPU and GPU. The SSD is only 80gigs but that's enough for windows and a couple of games or programs.

It's not a populair brand, but these series seem to do well for what I could find on the internet..
They look pretty much the same as the MSI gaming laptops.

Is that the new Gen of cpu's? Try to get the ivy bridge over the sandy bridge if u can Also do not get any K types...

Yes, the second laptop is the new Ivy Bridge. It offers very little performance increase over Sandybridge anyhow.

The second laptop is better with the GPU and CPU. The only thing worse about it than the first laptop is the SSD, but 80GB is more than enough (I have Windows and all my favorite applications on a 60GB)

I bought it today, can always send it back within 7 days if I'm not pleased with it
Also got the last one, they removed it from the store after I buyed it lol.. Just on time..
