Want to find basic lore before GW2 launch

I have not played GW1 (well, i have, but not long enough to matter), and now that GW2 is about to launch, i wanted to get the basic hang of what happened where, who is good/bad guy, etc.
I always enjoyed storylines - in WoW i used to know pretty much every single event in azeroth's history, and i loved reading quest text etc.

Essentially what im asking is this:

As a person who has not played GW1, i would like to have access to some resource (i.e. thread, video, etc) that would tell me the "need to know" lore so that i can actually understand WTF is going on in GW2, and why is this guy "bad" and this one "good".
Does anyone know of a decent link that could help?

Could you be a bit more specific please? That lore page is info about pre-gw, and doesnt really give enough info about "gw" -> "gw2" (although ill still read it, cheers).
I guess what im lookign for is something like "Before gw: this, this and this", "During gw: this this and this", "after GW before GW2: this this and that".
Does something like that exist?
