DH cluster bombs vs slow projectile elites

I just found out that if you meet elite with this affix if you use smoke screen run right next to him and use cluster bomb skill it will instantly fall down and drop all charges on him thus making it killing him in a second or atleast giving him around 1m damage +- depends on how good your dps is

cluster bombs is ok to use but nether tentacles is far better because of the massive HP per hit it gives while passing through.

To bad that Nether Tentacles got nerfed, and they now only hit a target once.

yes exactly as dreamy says nether are useless vs fat mobs or missile damping mobs

I just found out, that when I shoot stuff it does damage. This works on any mob.

I'm sorry for my sarcasm but cmon... is this what the exploit section has become, posting and explaining normal working game mechanics?

sure its intended to make cluster drop instantly on ground right where you stand thus making all shards striking at once resulting in 1m+ damage

I do it all the time in Act III against those wooden banisters on the ceiling, or on the archway of a door, they bounce right off back unto the floor. And if I'm not mistaken you can also use a Wizard mate, who casts Slow Time to create the same effect. "Clever use of game mechanics", but I personally wouldn't call it an exploit.

Yeah it was very well known tip for Elemental Arrow , less with Cluster Arrow.

The only bad point is that kind of affix has always been rare : /
