Question about VM / NotAres scripts tooltip!

I got a quick question for those using VM (player) and one of the variants of the NotAres scripts that have a tooltip to display the run info at the bottom.

For some reason, when I run my script in VM (which I installed today) my tooltip keeps flickering / blinking really fast the whole time. It works and everything but it's quite annoying.

Is this normal? And if it's not, does anyone know how to fix this?
I'm very new to VM, so I'd appreciate any help. And I googled this a lot but no luck.

you shouldn't be running vm player in the first place.

Use vmworkstation. VMplayer does not support VMtools. [unless I'm wrong]

It does support VMTools and it is free. And everything works fine btw, expect for this little bug with the constantly flashing/blinking tooltip.
No idea how to solve it though ;(

PS: I took a break from scripts for now till this ban wave blows over, plus I'm super bored with D3
