    I just don't understand...

I just don't understand why game developers ruin games...

UO - Post Pub16 is horrid.
Shadowbane - Not enough developing of the game.
Star Wars Galaxies - Revamped Combat System, total BS.
World of Warcraft - Need I explain?

I just don't get it... Does anyone have an answer?

Lol they are kids who grow up playing video games instead of having a life and then get to college and dont know anything else. So they develop games. LOL

Because they have a limited amount of time before their sponsors want the game out on the market, not so well trained developer's.

Lack of programers and designers. And so on, that's what happened to the first halo.

    Re: I just don't understand...

What I dont understand is that most game devs try to get people all hyped up about their ****ty game and make it look good through videos etc *cough* RF Online *cough*
Then when it comes out, everyone realises how badly made it is.
Why can't they take other peoples suggestions FOR ONCE instead of just going and doing it (Thats the big mistake Lucasarts made with SWG)
If I became a game dev it would be easier to make a good game because I understand it from the gamers PoV and know what people want.

Game dev ruin games because the majority that complain are little kids who are too impatient to do anything so the companies have to go with wat the ppl are telling them to do. But Blizzard on the other hand, well dont get me started with them.
