I'd like to make a client side chat filter to get rid of gold spammers. The filter itself is done and will get rid of 99% of spam, but I have no idea how to integrate it into D3's chat system.
I was tinkering around with cheat engine and D3 for about 8 hours yesterday, and the most I could figure out is that there is an array of 128-byte structures floating in memory somewhere each containing a pointer to a line of the chatbox as their first and 3rd element... However, no matter how hard I tried I couldn't seem to find a base address chain pointing to this array.
Anyway, I'm at a loss. Anyone have suggestions?
