    [Act2] Fast EXP spot

Hey! I wrote a guide for a decent leveling spot, you can go from 55 to 60 on hell in a few hours by this method

You don't need too much gear, but the +exp gear will improve your exp/hour a lot since you'll kill a lot of mobs, and better DPS will make the killing part faster. It's easier as ranged, but doable with anything and possibly you can make a macro/script for it

    1. Start on this Quest

    2. Do the first part of the quest, pass the guys talking and talk to Asheara

    3. Kill the snakes and you'll get the checkpoint

    4. Now exit this room and pass through the enemies, they won't hit you cause they're too busy transforming, but they'll follow you
4.1. You can use skills like Vault for DH or Spirit Walk on WD, Sprint on Barbarian, Blink for Wizard or the weird charge for Monk to make it faster. Ofc movement speed works also lol

    5. Run till you're in this spot, near to the green wall blocking the path

    6. Spam everything till the room looks like this, blood and dead bodies everywhere

    7. TP, leave, resume and repeat, you'll start from the room where you killed the first snakes on Step3

I know isn't the fastest way while the ZK method last but it works fine and it's a legit way ( if you don't script )!

    See ya!

Just tested this with my 58 barb. 1 min runs, 50k/per run, 3mill per hour. Not bad at all. Thanks for this

I should point out, that my barb has no extra xp gear also, just a 23% exp in helm.

Tried this on Nightmare on my barb. Gives around 15k per run and around 1min. Pretty good find and at least it's not mind numbing as ZK runs.

    Regards,

good find. just more info, if you can handle extra hits run around the demon summoning stones to trigger extra pack spawn (~3 pack w/ 3 mobs)

As a wizard I just run to the middle, pop Archon and lazer beam in circles several times and everything is dead. If I knew how to script I would attempt it because it seems like it would be simple.

I'm doing 40 second runs on this and its pretty decent xp but as far as non-scripting stand point I get more xp doing very first quest of Act 3.

Even still, good guide, the XP is very decent and its easy to do.

How does this compare to farming coreofarreat scorpions?
I like doing that because there's a chance for them to drop inferno level gear, one advantage of this is you can access it sooner.

    wretched-mother miniquest farm
    leoric's manor
    Act2 snake farm
    Act3 coreofarreat scorpions

Has anyone compared the different methods? maybe they could work well together.
    e.g.
*[Wretched mother miniquest farm] as soon as you're high enough to enter hell,
*Leoric's manor for a few levels,
*Act2snakefarm (this) until you can handle act3 COA scorpions comfortably and grind out the last few levels there.

As far as XP gain is concerned I'd say starting quest of Act 3 beats those.

*Fury-generator that doesn't rely on hitting something, pop this at the start of the run to pay for sprint.
*Sprint. (or marathon...or tornado, if it lets you get kills from the casters you usually leave behind- they don't seem to follow.)
    *WOTB
    *Earthquake (no cost rune)
    *COTA
    Boom goes the dynamite.
    Port out.

Possibly whirlwind, to takeout the towers & mobs at the same time.

Pretty nice spot, I got 55-60 in a day. So easy with a DH b/c you can just spam elemental with the lightning ball.
