I have 2 accounts one safe and one bot account I have a question

    Hi,

    I have two accounts.

One main account that I botted with but I got unbanned thank god lol

I have a second fresh account that I will start AH botting with.

I have a router and two PC at home.

I use one PC to bot with and the other PC I play my main with.

My question is do I take any risks if I mule gold and items between these two accounts?

I have 2 accounts one safe and one bot account I have a question

There are people who got banned last week with accounts they used just for mule purposes without any bot time. Hope that helps.

Yes you are at risk. If one account is found to be botting, Blizz will probably check where the account is dumping its gold. Dumping millions of gold everyday to the same account will surely raise a flag, especially since both accounts are on the same IP.

I doubt they can trace items you drop on the ground (but maybe with who you partied... ?). But unfortunately you have to open a trade window to exchange gold. That's not as stealthy and it's hard to guess what they will do if they see account A dumping gold regularly toward account B with IP sharing. Even if they say they encourage modifications for legal playing, I would say that smells if they can cross link it with suspicions of muling (after all, chinese gold sellers don't share your IP, right ?).

just ask Blizzard to unban your mule account and claim that you are sharing the same router with your housemate who are playing Diablo 3.

They won't. They follow their own antibotting script. I'm sure what is happening is once an account gets flagged it gets queued up to be investigated. They then look at the IP addresses and look for any accounts in common that you traded with and will go after those as well.

Best thing to do is try to launder the gold. Buy up some items that you can resell quickly (and possibly make money on if you play the market correctly). You should probably join a whole bunch of public games every couple of days to increase the number of accounts you come in contact with and if possible log in your mule under a different IP address. Nothing is foolproof, but they need some sort of "proof" to ban, so if they can't prove out in their notes that you regularly moved "stuff" or gold to the mule account, then they won't ban the mule account.
