If I purchase a license off of someone else who owns one will I be able to use it? Heck, can I even successfully buy one?

As we all know the website is down and with knowing very little about the situation I don't have tremendous confidence in it coming back up anytime soon.

What would I need to "buy" in order to have everything to successfully run the bot (I'm not crazy computer/programming savvy but I'm not stupid either).

FIrst u need to make sure that person isn't scamming u....once u get that outta the way...

all u need is their login user name and password for the bot...then u just run the exe bot program and login, then login to d3 and you are off to the races...

If the account is a post 28 account you won't be able to use the bot because the bot requires the email address for the battle.net account to be hooked up to the immortal bot account via their website. With the website being down you won't be able to change the account.

If it is a pre 28 account you login to the bot through the bot files and it allows you to use any account to bot on.

My suggestion is don't buy the bot from a person - you'll get scammed.

Person I was talking to said he wouldn't be able to do it unless the bot files were hosted somewhere else other than the virtualsteroids website.

I'm pretty sure it was a pre-28th license.

I own 3 licenses of Immortal Bot, 1 pre 28 and 2 post, and i can asure you that you will be scammed if you purchase it with the webpage being down, to be able to use the bot if its post 28 you need to change the battle net email in VS customer portal, and if its pre 28 you also need to access the webpage to reset the computer ID.

Basically what you need to do to get the Immortal Bot account is get the current username and password of that license, log in at virtualsteroids.com, access the customer portal change email, password and thats it, the previous owner wont be able to claim it back. I hope this answer your doubts.

Buy a license now is stupid, the website is down.

Post 28th bind to the account e-mail address your planning to bot on. Therefore when the website is down you can't change to your account e-mail address.

Pre 28th bind to computer hardware ID, VS only allow reset once a month. Even if you purchase the bot your computer can not run the bot due to different hardware id.

Either way buying Immortal bot now is cheaper, but you can't use either bot due to the main website is down.

pre allow reset every week, post allow reset once per month, make sure when buying post you verify the date first, you dont wanna buy one that you can't use for the next few weeks .. And yes anyone has any info why is the website down? the only thing i found online is VS posting on his twitter stay tuned(is this like a hint sales coming back). Can anyone find out more?
