    Question about bots

    Hi guys,

    Quick q about bots - is it generally safe to run a bot on the same machine your main character is on? i.e. just log on with a diff email? Or is everybody using vmware or some other virtual environment for their bots? Just checking, thanks!

    Yes, it is safe for your main. They only would track account activity, they do not log computer IDs and then try to link accounts. Why? What if you had someone over, and they logged in on your PC just to show you an item's stats, or something similar. They aren't one of your "botting accounts", but they would be linked and therefore banned.

    tl;dr;

    It's safe
    I have been told by blizzard attorneys to stop all bot development, distribution, and sales. My software development has been discontinued.
