How to Farm the Treasure Goblin like a boss [Act 2 Inferno]

This Guide should tell you how to do the Ancient Path, and the Road to Alcarnus Treasure Goblin farming route.

Some of you might be wondering, what is this act 2 goblin, and why are people farming that thing 24/7?

The Goblin is a so called Treasure goblin that will drop about 2 rares+ each time you manage to get him down.
The Goblin can drop the sickest items in the game, and it is currently one of the most effective ways to farm profit and good gear as of right now!

You could eventually get lucky and get yourself one of thoose 1200 1-handed dps weapons from this Goblin!
worth over 200m!

- So lets get started!



There are 2 very effective ways to find theese goblins in Act 2, i will show them both, you could choose to only do one of them
I prefer taking both of the routes mixing them up.


The most popular route: [The Ancient Path]

Requirements:

* Ancient path waypoint unlocked.
* You need to be able to kill some trash mobs
* A good amount of DPS to burst down the Treasure goblin
* Some decent MF gear, i would say 200+ for some good drops.


1. when your'e at the base you're gonna teleport to the waypoint called "Ancient Path".
2. Now you should be at some small road, keep going up to the first 2 stairs and after going up thoose 2, with no luck finding a goblin,
you should teleport back to the base.
3. Now Log out to the Menus Menu.
4. From here you should just click "Resume game"
5. Repeat the process.
6. Profit!


Less known, but still very efficent [The Road to Alcarnus]

Requirements

*Road to Alcarnus Waypoint unlocked.
*Here you should need more DPS than the one above as there should be way more trash mobs at this area.
*Patience

Why should you use this route?

Not very many people know this route, which means blizzard has not nerfed this one at all.
It can be mixed up with the other route above, giving a good combo.
at this area you could finde a fortune shrine which increases your Magic, and Gold Find.

1. At the base teleport to the waypoint called "Road to Alcarnus"
2. Here you should find a big square area.
3. What you're gonna do is that you're gonna clean this area, the goblin could be anywhere in this square
4. Whenever you spot a goblin, make sure to clean the mobs around it as the Goblin could easily be a chicken and run right into thoose,
other deadly mobs which would screw up your kill on the dirty little guy.
5. When you have cleared the whole area, just teleport back to town and log out.
6. Click "Resume Game"
7. Profit!


Mixing thoose 2 routes up starting with the Ancient path route and then doing the alcarnus route,
would be a very good combo granting you a goblin kill around 40% of the times!

just did a run and i feel no difference at all, so shouldnt be nerfed yet.

There is a pretty good chance for 1 to be in the Sewers as well, although you will have to fight more to see if it is there.

gonna try to farm this guy all day, got sick of act1 / pony level

Edit:

after 3hrs of nonstop farming, ~20-30sec a run, got a total of 2 lvl63 items (dropped in first ~10runs and then nothing), many lvl61-62 items (kinda useless), and thats basically it

noticed he drops a lot of lvl63 items that are white/gray, dunno maybe i just have extremely bad luck or he just doesnt want to drop dem good rares
