    Need help on VMWare

I've seen most of the AutoIT scripts are meant for 1680x1050 or some other resolution not within my option. Read about using VMWare to somehow change this.

So my question is, how do I come about doing it? There are quite a number of software at the VMWare website. Can anyone direct me in the right direction?

Sure, vmware has a variety of software but you are looking for vmware Workstation 7, you can most likely download from a Torrents site, so try to get the newest version you can find.

As for the installation is pretty straight forward unless you have more than one internet connection and you'd like to use different IP's for the Virtual Machines.

Just install the software and restart the PC so it will create the virtual network cards.
Upon completing the installation just go to the menu and go to FIle > New or Create Virtual machine and follow the steps which are pretty easy.

That's about it. If you need any help shoot me a pm or post here, I'll keep an eye.

I have installed vmware and I am able to run 2 x copies of diablo 3.

    My questions are:

    - Do I need seperate IP adresses for the 2 copies?
    - How do I get around the fact that I only have 1 mouse for 2 bots?

I would be glad if anyone could help me out here :-)

    (i) vmware fusion is for macs, so "why not vmware fusion" should be pretty self explanatory: do you have a mac?

(ii) use vmware player, vmware workstation to my knowledge isn't free while vmware player is, the difference between workstation and player is that it contains a bunch of features which are utterly useless for running a diablo bot

(iii) you have to enable 3d acceleration, afaik only the 2nd method allows you to specify available gpu memory
.) using the options in vmware OR
.) as described in this thread HOWTO: Enabling Accelerated 3D for a Virtual Machine in VMWare 5.0 - Ubuntu Forums

I've got another question regarding AutoIT and VMWare. When I set my screen resolution pass what my computer allows, the scroll bars appear; but I need to do so to run most of the scripts here. So should I be running the script in full screen, full screen windowed or just window mode?

Oh, and one more thing, I copy the script, paste it onto AutoIT and compile which will make a .exe file. I'm suppose to do that right? And run that .exe file.

    Thanks in advance~

You are supposed to see the virtual machine as a machine of its own. You need to have a new install of windows, d3, autoit. Compile the script on the vm. And youre ready to go.
You could also jsut "pull" over the working scripts, but personally, I like to be able to edit the right scripts from vm to vm.

Btw guys, are one supposed to get rep jsut by answering questions etc.? Do you lose rep giving away? I need some for credibility, but it seems hard:S

I've already installed windows, D3, AutoIT on the VM. Compiled it there and created a .exe file.

My question is, how do I get the script to run properly?

Do I set the game resolution to the required settings in window or full screen? Cos' the mouse clicks are kinda way off when I run one of the scripts.
