Poor mans guide to getting rich [Goblins and Common sense inside]

    Hello everyone.

Been snooping and leeching here for a lot longer then shown on my join-date and i thought i would write out a simply yet rewarding guide compiling mostly known info but maybe with a few new pointers.

    SOLO

    Recommended stats:

    Monk + Barb: ~600res,30kHP, 15k+DPS, 75MF and 2k Liferegen/Lifeperhit @sec combined

Ranged: Res ~350, 20k+ DPS, 75MF, Ability to Shoot'N'Scoot, 25kHP (LifeonHit is a bonus as reflectdmg packs are are as much fun as taking on your girlfriend in an argument about the girl who grabbed and kissed you last saturday while it's that precious time a month and she just did the dishes.)

This should all be very doable within a price-range of 3-4mill and most will have close to these stats all-ready.

    GROUP

This is where it gets fun. Stats are still as mentioned above with a little wiggleroom in the DPS as melee can have less and ranged can go all out.
Round up 2 friends and try and make one of the following combinations.

    Monk + Barb + HighDPS:

This is by far my favorite setup and i recommend this to everyone

Monk: Monk - Game Guide - Diablo III

Barb: Barbarian - Game Guide - Diablo III

Ranged DPS: As much DPS as you can bring without getting 1 shotted. ( 2Shotted is ok )

    Monk + 2DPS

Monk: Monk - Game Guide - Diablo III

Ranged DPS: As much DPS as you can bring without getting 1 shotted.

    Barb +2DPS

Barb: Barbarian - Game Guide - Diablo III

Ranged DPS: As much DPS as you can bring without getting 1 shotted.

    !TIP!

    1
Some classes with the ability to lasthit more then 1 target with 1 spell that has AoE can receive multiple loot/stacks
This only applies to Blue Packs and only works x2.
Make sure you have the LAST 2 blues at ~5-10% health and use that 1 AoE 1shotspell to kill em. Profit with 2xstacks and 2xloot

    CONFIRMED WORKING WITH:
    Monks: Exploding Palm any Rune
Demon hunters: Spike Trap any Rune

I would say any class with an ability that does enough AoE dmg could do it but i haven't had the chance to test that out.

    2
Barbs have 2 abilities that grants a chance for more loot.
For the love of god if your a barb use these abilities!!!

    3
While holding down shift + signaturespell (LeftClick) spam "T" for a nice 2x dmg burst
Works great in groups with tank's, as you get better at it you can do at any time for some easy killing.

    4
Goblins will always try to run in a straight line away from the point of origin of the first attack.
Demon Hunters can smokescreen thru the goblin and make the first shot from behind, luring the goblin to run back towards an awaiting group

    5
Demon Hunters can snare goblins with Caltrops - Torturous Ground for 0.5sec and with a 0.5sec animation on the goblin to run again you can spam Caltrop every 1 sec to keep it in place

    ACT I:
Warden is your best friend in the world right now, Butcher to if you feel you can take him down easy enough.

    1) Load game up at Q9 Part II
    2) WP to Cemetery of the Forsaken, Clear immediate area (Possible 2packs) and 3 crypts ( Don't Bother with developers crypt if it's around )
    3) WP to Halls of Agony II and proceed thru it to Highland Passage and on to Cursed Hold
    4) Free the prisoners and clear out the entire dungeon, as much as 3 packs can be here.
    5) Kill your dear friend Warden at the center and proceed to loot 1rare + 4-8 blue/rares
    6) If you want to kill Butcher keep on reading, if not, go to step 9
    7) Down we go and next up is Halls of Agony III, Clear everything here as there's usually 2-4 packs.
Butcher! ... Kill, loot, profit on to 9
    9) In Act 1 you could also clear the festering woods. You will find at least 3 champion packs (maximum is 6, and maybe some goblins)
    10) In addition to that, I'd also check Northern Highlands. Just north west of the way point there's often a dungeon called the Watch Tower which is very short and has the possibility of a Resplendent Chest and usually 2 or so packs.
    11) Bank ilvl 63 for fun, ID everything else, sell out, repair and back to step 1

    ACT II:
    I <3 Goblins

    1) Load Q8 any part
    2) Equip as much MF as possible without hurting stats to much
    3) WP to ancient path
    4) Run right and follow the narrow road till you hit the second curve up the hill. Kill whats on the way but keep an eye out for the goblin.
    5) DON'T proceed further up as you'll get one pesky checkpoint
    6) Yell out to friends if your more and have them join you for loot, if you have no friends :'( proceed to 7 and ignore friend screaming.
    7) Laugh at the goblin as it tries to flee, Scream at your friend when goblin runs away and friend didn't clear as told, Kill Goblin and $_$

    ACT III+IV: BROKEN LOOT ATM:
    Bashiok - Community Manager:
I unfortunately don't have any specifics to share just yet, but we agree they are low and are looking at adjusting them. We should have more details early next week.

Can a blue post comment on bugged a3 / 4 loot - Forums - Diablo III

Hope this help some for an easy yet rewarding way of getting some IGG.

    Best of Luck
    Laih

    6) Yell out to friends if your more and have them join you for loot, if you have no friends :'( proceed to 6
    Shouldn't the 6 on the end be 7? :P

In Act 1 you should also clear the festering woods. You will find atleast 3 champion packs (maximum is 6, and maybe some goblins). Then you can also port to Leoric's Manor and run backwards. You will often find one pack inside, 2 others outside and when you cross the bridge there is a small area where you can find around 2-3 packs and some goblins, too.

I've also had the occasional treasure goblin on my way to the dungeon.
