Do you need to purchase a bot before you can use Autoit scripts? help much appreciated thank you

Autoit just runs the scripts.
Scripts themself can be found in forum (many or dank cellar run). Just copy script and run using AutoIt

Autoit is free scripting software, all you need to do is download scripts or write your own.

Your issue is you don't have it installed. If its a script and not a .exe you need to download this:

You need to download/install the "AutoIt Full Installation" or the zip version.

I have downloaded the autoit program. compiled the script. I tried running it but the bot just clicks my banner and does nothing else.

What kind of script are you running?
The thread you got the script from should give yousome basic instructions

im trying to run a Sarkanoth script. I have the right settings and everything but all it does is clicks the banner and stops there. for a wizard 1600x900

You probably need to make your own PNGs vs using the ones that came with the script.
