Sent them my drivers license, with everything but my picture, the drivers license number and they refused, saying they need the entire id.

To be honest it seems a little shady. That is way to much information to buy some gold for a video game.

I fail to understand why you need my picture? Care to elaborate? Having my address and real name should be more then enough to verify my identity.

She needs your ID because of people charging back on paypal. Even with all that information theres a high chance that the seller will still get screwed. I called PP today, they told me, even if I had a signature of the card holder signing an agreement buying in game gold, that's still not proof enough. SELLERS ARE NOT PROTECTED AT ALL.

I don't see how this is shady? I can easily find pictures of Drivers liscences on the internet. Asking for a real time photo that shares the name w/ the paypal seems pretty legit and secure tbh.

Yea reddragon, sad thing is, even if you have that, the buyer can say my wallet was stolen to paypal, and paypal will issue chargeback.
