Is there a reason everything is 1920X1080?

I'm curious for my own creations. I would prefer to run in a VM at 800x600

But do you need to be at high resolution for AutoIT to understand/pickup on the graphics?

It's the pretty standard monitor resolution for most people nowadays (at least "gamers").

Plus, many have issues trying to run D3, or any other game, in VMs anyway.

my recomendation is
when botting... change your desktop res to 1600x900
turn on diablo and change it to 1600x900
then you are good to go..
ALL mouse clicks will work.

if you want image search to find pics.. you will have to take screenshots of your game.. and just cut the images down to fit the size of the PNGs.
^then u are trully golden..

once done botting. change your rez back to what you game with.

PS. yes i know you have to do extra work.. but it will be hours and hours of botting and receiving free gold that you dont have to do on your own.

I am not seeing a performance increase in running d3 via VM versus simply running as many instances as I need directly

if you run in a VM you are Warden safe (he can't detect more then one game running), and you can use AutoIT on every instance. you can't do auto-it multi-instances, cause there are only one keyboard/mouse to simulate (i think).


but realy, 800x600 is sooooooooo 1998!

but i had to prepare my own images. thats all.

I suggest anybody with issues on this reads the excellent post on running in a vm, even if your monitor is 1024x786 you can still run 1920x1080 then... simple solution, works great

To be honest most these scripts should be made for compatibility with the lowest res and lowest graphics, in my experience when everything loads quick and runs smoother the bot is much more efficient. And I dont care about the game looking pretty when im botting.
