Keep an extra 50 items on your account

So, I'm pretty sure that this is obvious to most people, but just in-case you haven't thought of it already. You can have up to 50 items in your completed auction tab. Post 10 items you want to keep "stashed" and then cancel them. They won't go back to your in-game stash but instead into the Completed Items tab in the auction house. Whenever you need them, simply clear out a spot in your in-game stash and collect your item from the auction house.

This would be useful for early characters who haven't bought much room in their in-game stash. Or for mule accounts to gain an extra 50 slots (regardless of size)


I haven't seen a recent post about this so I figured I would put it out there for those of you who might not think of this.

Nice tip, you can also make a few level 1 characters to store your items, and if you dont want to log on them all when you're looking for a specific item you can check them on the "Sell" tab in the Auction House (:

They are shared on a single account.

So say you have 10 characters on an account.

Your stash holds (when all tabs / slots are purchased) 70 single slots (ring / amu / belt / follower focuses) per tab and 3 tabs so a total of 210 single slots. Plus 60 single slots on each character. So a total of 600 single slots across an entire account /w 10 characters.

You are allowed to have up to 50 "Completed Items" in the Auction House that have not been sent to your stash. So instead of 810 slots on an account (Assuming you are only storing rings, amulets, focus items, and belts. All other items take up 2 slots) you'd have 810 single slots + 50 items of any size that are essentially floating in the Auction House.

So... How are you cancelling auctions?... They hot fixed the change time/date exploit.

You can cancel in the first five minutes of posting.

Also, I would add to the original post that you can do the same for 50 auctions in the hardcore AH, and in the RMAH!

it can go past 50 items... i had 54/50 items in my completed tab, and the text etc. went red. No idea if shit gets deleted or anything though if u leave it there, i was quite fast at cleaning it out

Just a note. This is extremely useful if you have many stacks of essences, as you can post up 458 essences, cancel it, that frees up 5 inventory spaces, and only takes up one action house space

I always have too much shit in my inventory, i just stash it at the vendor
