Today i got a firey brimstone from a blue quiver

I was quickly salvaging all the junk i got from act 3 inferno, when a random blue quiver gave me a firey brimstone. It even said in chat that the quiver is what gave me the item, so yes, Im sure i didnt just accidentally salvage my helm of command. I should have screen shotted as proof, but that can be photoshopped anyways so w.e


Basically, i think this might be repeatable and exploitable. I think the key was doing lots of items quickly but i dont know. Has anyone else experienced this?

Yes this does happen. it has a 0.1% chance from items like that though i THINK.

I just got 2 of these off lvl60 blues
Got one of these off a blue in inferno. Talk about lucky.
Salvaged a level 60 rare weapon (from Inferno Act I) and got one of these. I assume the %chance of getting one off a legendary is somewhat higher.
Just an FYI, these do not only come from salvaging legendary items. I have gotten two so far off of level 60 blues that I found in act 1 of inferno.

I got 6 from blue so far, not an "exploit". Nobody simply puts ~0.1% chance of legendary materials dropping from a blue item when coding the game
