Rollback Duping

Hello all, i'm pretty sure this has probably been addressed but i can't see to find any other relating posts.
I've been scheduled for a rollback, i was wondering if i were to transfer all my current items and money to a friend's account, could these items then be duped being also on my restored account? Or do the items i owned prior to rollback just "poof"?

My account was hacked and while waiting for them to restore it I got some gold and nice drops. Gave it to my friend and the items were still there.

Yes those would be duped. I was hacked, everything was taken except for what I had equipped (weird, because those were the most valuable) and I just unequipped everything and gave it to my friend before rollback. Once rolledback, voila, 2x of everything.

Blizzard call this morning to ask about this. They say you can only roll back 2 times a year, that means that if you use them wrong and you hack, forget the things your back for 1 year.

If your account is compromised, you cannot use the AH until you have bought an authenticator. If your account gets compromised a second time, then you won't be able to use the RMAH at all.

yeah that's only after 2 rollbacks, i don't mind though i don't plan to use RMAH for anything since the tax cuts to sell are a joke

well technically if you can make sure you make a shitload of money in 1 rollback its worth it

So, consolidate 100m on one account, remove authenticator, have friend log on a mule account from out of state and "hack" my account/trade all 100m to mule, open ticket, get rolled back, have 200m, add authenticator? Hmmmmmm...

If you want to do this, Roalith, make sure you use a plethora of accounts.

Account #1: Your main account
Account #2: Rollback account
Account #3: "Pseudo-hacker" account

Level a character to 60 on your #2 account, trade him heaps of good gear from #1 (300M+ worth of gear), leave the gear on your #2 for 72 hours. Then, log on your #2 from another location, trade all the good items to #3, which he will then trade to your #1. Request a rollback for #2. Rinse repeat. Ideally, you want to have about 10~ rollback accounts so you can actually get "hacked" over longer periods of time rather than get hacked RIGHT AWAY for the second time. After the second rollback, just use the account to bot if you've got spare computers or a really performant one, or to perform larger scale scams (I won't go into the details but...yeah).

Yeah, because I want to rollback a fresh 60 with 14 hours of play time and 100m + 300m+ gear. Blizzard would never put 2+2 together! I'm not interested in doing this anyway, it was more a sarcasm post because Blizzard SHOULD be scanning logs to see where the gold/items go FROM the rollback account, and doing something to it at the destination in addition. Poor way to handle things/easy influx of gold...

Well what about just botting with the character (just do it with DHs imo) and accumulating playtime this way if you really want to increase playtime..?

You don't need to have gold on your character, just items. Items. That's it. Don't rollback gold, it's garbage. Gold devaluates, and really good items only increase in value (since gold loses it) since they'll always be scarce aside from duped items. If you rollback gold, allow me to doubt your mental health.
