[Farming] Pretty quick Act 4 Treasure Seeker / Rare mob farming

WARNING: dont even try this without having enough dps. im at 30k DPS on my witch doc and im having a hard time bringin the treasure seeker down.
edit: that is on Inferno of course
edit2: you can port to the Crystal Collonades first, grab Tyrael and then go to the Gardens of Hope 1st Tier for some extra DPS

get the quest "Prime Evil" and teleport to "Gardens of Hope 1st Tier"

Treasure Seeker can spawn anywhere in the Area shown on the minimap

There will also be a pack of rares or unique monster like 75% of the time, probably even more often.

treasure Seeker spawned 7 times out of 20 runs. one time he spawned 3 times in a row.
he can spawn anywhere in that area, starting on the steps to the area wich is shown in the screenshot. dont even bother goin further. if hes not there and you killed the rare/unique pack just start another game.

Not the Easist one to farm but if you can manage to bring down the Elites/Uniques and get a little loot of the treasure seeker its definitly worth it !

Shouldn't be a problem with my 38k dps range barb with 100k dps cooldowns.

^thanks for sharing. gonna try this too (wizard, 40kdmg, 33k life). i think the hardest problem will be my way of killing the elite pack - and not hitting the goblin sideways

yeah. id like to hear from you guys.
i did this like 20runs last night and like 50 today.
i didnt get a single treasure seeker in the last like... 20 runs but elites are still there wich is weird.
either i had some insanely lucky RNG or it was fixed faster than i expected...

hm. once i get some better gear with the money i'm farming from tier 1 farming breaking pots and looting weapon racks, i'll have to extend my farming a bit to try to farm this guy a bit.

tried 10 times, no goblin yet. sometimes packs are really annoying

The spawn chance is more like 5% than 7/20. This is my usual farm spot (the vases, impaled angels, chests and weapon racks) and I always go ahead and check if this guy is there. Even if he spawns 5% of the time, which is pretty generous, there is usually a yellow / blue armored destroyer or oppressor pack nearby. And really, who wants to deal with that shit.
