2 or more people playing on the same account at the same time

So basicly its same as it was in diablo 2. 2 people can play at the same time , as long as they play on diffrent servers ( americas, asia and europe). I did tested this today with my friend and sience he still dont have the game he can play on my account but only on diffrent server. Tought this might be helpfull to some people arround here.

How it come that this is ilegal? If they really didn't want this to happen they wouldn't allow it at the first place. Its same as it was in diablo 2 .Don't think someone can get ban for this

haha i remember similar thing when my father and i were playing anarchy online. We used the same account to log in, but were playing on two different servers. I cant remember the names of the servers right now, but i remember there were two servers. We did this for few many years, until one day we got banned for few hours/days with an email explaining this was not suppose to be like this and if we did it again we would get permanent ban. So after that day i quit playing and started playing wow, but my father kept playing anarchy online. But now i'am playing diablo 3

nowhere does it say in this thread and the aforementioned one, that blizzard will ban you. I'm curious to know if it is actually against some rule.
