As far as I am aware it is people being stupid that is losing their accounts, probably mixed with diablo 3 fan sites having their DB file hacked and retards that use the same email/password for everything getting their stuff stolen.

If it was a problem with blizzard servers there would be thousands of posts on the d3 forums, I have seen maybe 3 dozen max. I am not saying its impossible, take valve for example not to long ago. I am just saying it is highly unlikely.

Of course most people are stupid :-) but this is more then stupid xD

I have only checked 2 posters armorys as most people are posting on their d3 account, both people that claimed they had an authenticator did not have the corehound pet. Also authenticators are not 100% guaranteed safety.

Haha so there saying protect your account with an auth but it's not 100% "safe"? Then what's the point of getting one if they will get the account eventually?

An authenticator is just an extra step in protection, the ultimate account protection is to not be an idiot. Don't be stupid and your account will not be taken.

Pretty much this, if it were on blizzards end they either
a) would have released a statement by now (required by law)
or b) forums would be flooded with reports about it, which they have not been. People are idiots, and will continue to be idiots.

Take this thread for example "hurr durr I haz authenticator but i got hacked, blizzord is stoopid"
