    Well after searching all day

To Whom Who Would Like To Correspond,

After reading this whole sub-forum which took the better part of the day today. I found that one technique used is to cross reference mooege for function names. Then use the MPQ files as references. There was a reference to a WOW post in which he used MPQ list numbers to search with using Cheat Engine. He must of been on a x86 machine. Because I have found that on a x64 machine Cheat Engine just doesn't want to work for me. The driver will not load properly to enable the read/write memory option within its settings.

Knowing how there searching memory now I went and got Ladik's MPQ Editor and took a look at the files. Then I used a Hex Editor to understand the actual bytes in the .gam files. To my luck I managed to screw up one of the .gam files. I was like Noooooooooooo. Which then screwed up the CoreData.mpq. So, I had to get a buddie to upload me his. After this mishap I made a 7.7 Gig backup this time.

Knowing how you guys are searching memory now. I am armed with new knowledge. lol... Even with this knowledge I still feel like I know nothing. Because as I sit here and look at the MPQ files and the MPQ tables. I still do not see the List numbers mentioned in the reference I used to this technique.

Can anyone help me the rest of the way here? I am stuck once again in the muck with no paddle to row and no gas to make my engine turn. lol...

    Nesox,

    Inside this picture,

You have everything nice and neat on the server explorer. How did you do this? It looks nice......................

I have Mooege source. But I have no idea how you got yours like that. I see all the source in the Solution Explorer.

Can you make a tutorial to tell us how you set up your visual studio like that please?

Other thing is too, on the mooege thread, there are thumbnail pictures I cannot look at because of permissions? What is that about?
    I can't look at a picture because I'm new?

    Valtharak,

It was a little more involved than just doing that. I used this as my reference:
tsJensen | SQLite on Visual Studio 2010 Setup Instructions

I'm just about to test it out to see if it works now after about 2 resets of my machine.

Sorry for the double post, the last 24 hours. This sub-forum has been dead... Seems like everyone is out playing in the sun today.
