Removing gems via salvage

A nice trick for the people who didn't know.

If you socket a gem into an item you can remove it by salvaging the item, the gem will go back into your inventory. This little tricks helps you because you don't have to pay the removal cost at the jewelcrafters for 400g+ per item. Every little bit helps

A tip for leveling people, get highlvl friends to donate a good Ruby, buy a cheap socket weapon from AH/or 1 you find and put it in. U can constantly replace the weapon and add the same gem. This adds a ton of dps compared to other blues around your level.

Just letting people know who don't wanna risk losing their gems if they do not have the cash to remove the gems. no need to get offensive.

The thread is over two years old and this is working as intended from day one. Its a good tip for new players at best, nothing more.
