Fast Act 2 experience + drops

Dear Ownedcore,

I recently started using my own way of using a quest to farm quick experience and decent drops in act 2.

Go to act 2 , part 8 and then click on the black soulstone (confront zoltun kulle).

Run into the portal, kill him + adds. Collect 37k quest exp+ drops and xp from mobs = around 40k every 2 minutes or so. THis is for Nightmare values

Nightmare values, meaning? Can I get that much exp from doing it on normal difficulty or do you mean that this is only for nightmare?

i think he means this is nightmere only atm

i assume you can do this on normal mode and will be just as effective.... but less exp ect.

Correct, the values(40k stand for NM) Im not sure how much exp is normal but should also give a good amount as you need less xp to lvl in Normal obviously

Once you do it the first time, how can you go and do it over again?

I'm about to hit this quest on my witch doctor for the first time.

Yes u can constantly spam it so easy experience. Around Nightmare level 40-50 Its about 10 -15 runs for a lvl. Seeing u can do alot of runs per hour(average 2 mins per run I think). And a good way of getting some blues/yellows if u have decent MF.

thanks alot, i checked it out on normal and its 10,150 exp from the quest, and 1120 gold!

Confirming this as a fun alternative to being killed constantly in the third act. Normal Mode, 10k exp and 1100~ gold every time. Easy kill for high level 20~ Berserker;

Pop Ignore Pain when next to both colossi (knockback rune optional)
Cleave with the Reaping Swings rune (extra fury for each target hit)
Do Battle Rage (no rune needed)
Do Earthquake (Giant's Stride rune optional)
Chase Zultan around like an idiot because he does barely any damage to you at all.

Bam. It's an average of 200 gold and two blue drops per kill on Normal. Not bad at all. Giving rep where rep is due!

I'm getting ~110k xp(You also get xp for killing the guy/adds)
Drops nice gear.
Only takes 3-4 mins to kill him.

May i ask which class and how much dps/hp you have? I want to try it out too soon but im worried that i as a mage cant solo it.Hope i get good gear soon.

Used this to level from 25 to 40 on Hardcore Normal mode. 10kXP a run.

Took about 15 minutes from 25 to 26 and about 40 minutes from 39 to 40. Nice and easy.

Checked a few other bosses, for some reason, this quest gives ALOT more exp than anything before or after, did this 45-50 myself, considering you "only" get twice the exp on Hell, its still pretty fine mid-50, 40k exp is 40k exp
