Finding a Base Adress in D3 menu

    Finding a Base Adress in D3

    Hi Guys,

    i scanned with CE and MHS alot of D3 Memories, right now i have no clue of an debugger.

    My Problem is, that my memories i found are non static. So how to find the base adress ?

    I scanned in depth with pointer but dont find a static one.

    Can you help me or give me some tipp?


    Cause i want to learn all this and i am student i can offer a donation for a person who is willing to help me and teach me.

    Search for "what access to this address" and debug the code.
    Search backward until you find a valid static address to start from.

    HI Artek,

    i done this but i dont found a static green adress . i had alot of offsets but no static at the end....

    HI,

    ok i found with MHS a statc adress with offsets
    [[[[[[0x76410420]+0x1C8]+0xB8]+0x9c]+0xA4]+0x344]+0x08 was the code with offsets
    some scrren to show that i had a static adress

    so i restartet the game but the memory do not point to my gold adress.

    what the hell i am doing wrong in the game ?

    1. this should be in the memory editing section
    2. the address you found is not static
    3. there is already quite some information on how to read information from d3 in the memory editing section.
    -> I don't think you will find a pointer chain to the gold value. It is stored in a hashmap, so every time the game needs this value it will lookup a hash value specific address in memory. As this depends on the current size of the hashmap etc., there will not be a hardcoded pointerchain to this address.
